there r 2 greenhouses at Auckland Domain so can still enjoy nice gardens during winter......

spring sights

can c lots of flowers in spring - in parks, on the streets n even gardens of homes..... pity my beta camera not working well yet...

quite alot of this completely pink flower tree on the streets but dunno wat it is....

at work, chargeability simply means the no. of profit-making hours over max. working hours. My target chargeability is 86%, on average it's about 10% now.....

hey, really not surprised if ganna retrenched n b freed to look for meaningful work..... in fact i'm getting impatient - wat take mgmt so long to realise i'm a parasite?? stupid......

hate seminar venue

ya, at a seminar recently, it was held in some viewing gallery of a racecourse...... one of the most uncomfortably cold place to b! there is no heating (in fact most places only have A/C blowing 'warmer' air than outdoors, only some motels n shops have proper heating system!), even my apartment n the public bus feel warmer!

during lunch n tea-breaks, most like to stand eating or eat over the bar, leaving lots of tables empty...... obviously i dun like to socialise!

watz stupider than having separate hot n cold taps?? there is no hot water at all from the hot tap!! gotta wash hands with CHILLY water..... some NZ houses really hv such stupid fittings, really no common sense......

never been to another winter country but think NZ is lousy in building insulation n heating!

Rotorua.... again

abt 1 hr from Taupo is Rotorau, my fav geothermal spa place.... oso got a lake called Lake Rotorua (no surprise)

dunno wat kind of ducks but they seem v relaxed n sleeping somemore!

i agree the swans r quite aggressive.... they swam to anyone near the water even if no one intends to feed them!

Retired bath houses.... Rotorua is geothermal spa place for many years.... guess only rich n privileged pple could visit bath houses in the past....

some old folks throwing steel balls around n enjoying themselves.... dunno wat game is dat but looks boring!

Taupo & surroundings

typical motels at Taupo.... dun expect security, a guest lost 2 motorbikes over the nite.
how wish u can c the wind in tis photo, it's bloodly strong! dun bother abt combing hair liao!

Lake Taupo, the wind was so strong, it looks like sea with currents.

gamers trying their luck on hitting the ball towards Lake Taupo onto a small floating platform..... think buying lotto got bigger chances..

the place to queue for entry n rentals...... so bloodly cold to stand in outdoor long queues! those white spots are snow :D

quite crowded at beginner's slope when top 2 slopes are closed for bad weather....... got pple smoking somemore, yucks!

i practise at kids' area when i find the beginner's slope too steep..... heh.....

will b back next year if i still have my job by then!

Mt Ruapehu - Whakapapa Ski Field

joined my colleagues for a weekend ski trip..... so exciting!! first time c snow!! but think my camera dun like snow... it went blank (not fogging) even before we reach the mountains! the above photo is the last few taken by my camera, photos below are from my hp n fren's camera....

ya, white white everywhere......

not expert in skiing yet but it's fun to glide without knowing how to brake n fall painlessly on the snow! hahaha...... got more photos to come after frens share theirs wif me.....

Genting Highlands

imagine the shock i got in the morning to find complete whiteness, it was clear without any signs or forecast yesterday! The buildings in these photos were not visible at all an hour before photos r taken....

the white spot on the right is indeed trying to get the best employee award.....

Several flights r canceled, wonder if i need to work when tis happens...... heh.....
