5 hrs

Since here, I've been sleeping for abt 5 hrs every night, automatically waking up before the alarm sounds........ but I dun feel tired during the day......

In SG, I can sleep like a pig, even with thunderstorms, for 12 hrs straight.......

watz up??!

have heard a saying: the older one gets, the lesser sleep one needs....... oh no!!

Finally out of the cave.......

been furnishing n moving to the new place over last weekend...... it's tiring but watz worse is internet connection n TV r not ready till now....... my SG laptop is not compatible to the internet provider for the apartment building n the TV purchase doesn't come with antenna cable...... can't shop after work either cuz shops typically close at 5pm....... so have been living in a cave for days, perhaps I shld b thankful that the utilities work!

it hasn't been a good week too, took long time to find a seminar venue in the rain (it juz have to rain when I forgot my umbrella); got rejected in the face by ticket attendant to top up my bus card as it was exactly his knock-off time at 6.30pm; called for internet assistance but voice message says they are closed at 9pm when it was only 7pm!

Ya, I miss the convenience in SG liao!

For 3+ weeks, I've never used the dishwasher in the hotel (n never one in my life!) so thought of trying it out yesterday. After studying its interior for long, can't figure where the detergent goes to n use powder or liquid detergent huh??

The rectangular compartment has no holes to drain detergent out so I almost poured liquid detergent in the other compartment with circular opening.......

Lucky I checked the web...... all wrong! Powder detergent goes to the rectangular compartment enough already! how the compartment cover opens itself n let powder detergent out, i dunno!

So sua gu! anyway, it was not bad, dishes r clean with some small water stains

In 1980s, a Kiwi colleague had his shoulder-length hair cut when he landed in SG, as required by SG customs...... according to him, it's because of the image and not hygiene reasons......

ya, it's not big..... lesser effort to clean up n lesser heater electricity to warm up the place! The building management specifies front load washing powder only in washing machine n no drying of clothes in balcony..... reminds me of SG gahmen!

In estimating manhours, senior engr and project mgr say no need to visit site for designing the modifications there

How to design something without knowing how the site looks like?? 2D design on paper??

SG clients would ask y I din go to site!

Anyway, engring mgr disagree n insist I allow manhours for at least 1 site visit...... that's more like it!

Been estimating lots of manhours recently n got stack between senior engr n engring mgr..... how wish they fight it out themselves, then tell me the final thing to do! Sianzzz.....
