Oink! Motel is open!
The apartment is finally fully furnished with the arrival of the sofa, coffee table & TV console (a.k.a lamp table). V pleased with the furnishings n not-too-congested layout, how wish I can bring all with me if I ever move back to SG!

not well everywhere
It's never a good idea to return work when not 100% well. Everything seems frustrating, or they really r!
Had xmas lunch with colleagues in CBD, lead engr only leave office half hour later, drove aimlessly, searched aimlessly for restaurant, waited for food in crowded restaurant...... so had gastric discomfort in addition to a swimy bladder for 2+ hours....... reminds me y i prefer to dine by myself!
been wondering y i was given an additional equipment data called 'cooler filter' and the vendor's reply didn't explain its purpose. With more questioning, mech engr/coordinator colleague finally reveal that it's 'dust collector', finally tallying with a name in equipment list..... then with another query on dimensions, mech engr expressed his frustration instead! well, he as a coordinator who doesn't do his work well, he'll continue to get more questionings from me!
yet again, lead engr interfered with how my graduate engr work on my project, making him rush something which is not critical at all. lead engr knocks off early without having a good look at the failing analysis, commenting loudly that it shld have been done in his way of analysis.......
ya, I shall not b bothered by the ridiculous mis-management in office n focus on touring instead.

Infection
Went to work today as usual. A lady colleague suddenly felt sick n need to go home to take her urinary infection pills, that was abt 10+am. At 11+am I suddenly felt strong lower abdomen pain..... it was so bad that I can't stand up properly! Doc diagnosed it as urinary infection n now I resting after an injection and medicine.
never had urinary infection before, wat a shock to have sudden strong pain just like dat! after web searching I'm not certain if it's contagious, wat luck....

Auckland bus stops....
think have seen enough to categorise the bus stops here....
Category 1 (bare minimum) - bus stop sign & road markings only, no info on bus numbers
Category 2 - bus stop sign with bus numbers & road markings
Category 3 - bus stop sign with bus numbers, road markings and a bum-rest (includes nearby building/structure to lean against)
Category 4 - bus stop sign with bus numbers, road markings and a bench
Category 5 - bus stop sign with bus numbers, road markings and a 'shelter' with holes at the roof
Category 6 - bus stop sign with bus numbers, road markings and a real shelter from weather.
Category 7 - bus stop sign with bus numbers, road markings, a real shelter and electronic panel showing oncoming buses
My regular bus stops fall under Categories 3 & 4, so can imagine how bad it can b when it rains coldly with no shelter! Category 7 bus stops r generally on tourist bus routes or those serving many bus numbers.
So getting a car in Autumn next year is outdoor refuge to me..... pple here say Auckland winter is generally wet (always raining), dark n cold..... so not looking forward to it!
standard bus stop sign.....
category 1 bus stop.......
basically bus shelters cannot shade anyone from the sun......

Napier is a more sunny place with lesser rain but only drier, would prefer this than wet n unpredictable Auckland!
Saw nice Napier landscapes from the plane which also flew around a rainbow...... but guess wat? no camera with me n handphone died with low power.....
The company spent about $700 on my one day trip where I simply repeat the same questions posed to colleagues before...... only then they take action on the things which can easily b done in a snap. wonder y i bother to be efficient to provide watever pple want at one time when majority of working pple around me dun give a damn? it's simply wasting time on others while I can do better things with the same time, stupid.....
