wished there was photo for tis........
a senior management colleague forgo his leave tdy to chair a meeting in office. he was in T-shirt, jeans & sandals which r ok since he only got last min notice...... only total 3 of us in meeting.
think he got too comfortable half-way n put his bare feet up on table edge while sitting n presenting at same time!! wif occasional f-words though he was not angry or agitated.
most construction workers i c in SG r not even dat crude!

short notice or not.
it's unprofessional and absolutely disrespectful to fellow colleagues.
least he/she should be in casual wear.
legs on table during meeting, lagi no-no.
proves a point, ang-mo still (think)they're king after so many years.
profanity used????
sigh....
period.
hmmm...... some relevant points there. between me n my ang mo snr engr, pple look up to him more cuz he's more of their kind! well, lesser work for me!
not all ang mos arrogant lah!
in other companies, its normal for people to feel at home. being professional, in europe at least, has nothing to do with personal mannerisms, but more to do with the quality of work and work attitude. as long as you are not meeting the customer, it doesn't quite matter what you do.
.. i would prefer kampong styled dressing (and good work) than sharp dressers who suck. (most of the latter type seems to be from asia, to my embarrassment)
most of my managers and senior engineers go around in sandals. and it is very normal to be in t-shirt and shorts. no one bothers as long as the work is done.
its just a different culture from the big world we live in.
